About the Guesthouse

The guesthouse is housed in a beautifully restored barn that is part of the Vaives dzirnavas complex, officially opened on November 16, 2018, in anticipation of Latvia's centenary. The building spans two floors, with the first floor featuring a spacious guest hall, kitchen, and restrooms, while the second floor offers comfortable guest rooms, showers, and additional restrooms. The entire guesthouse is equipped with modern amenities, heated for year-round comfort, and designed to minimize noise with exterior metal stairs leading to the upper level.

Event Space

The guest hall is designed to accommodate 40 guests, with the flexibility to host more if needed. Spanning 122.4 m² with a height of 2.87 meters, the hall is furnished with 10 wooden tables and 40 plastic and leather chairs, allowing for various seating arrangements, including a U-shape setup. The ambiance is enhanced by six dimmable LED lamps controlled remotely, and the hall features underfloor heating with a stylish vinyl tile finish.

Accommodation Details

On the second floor, guests will find 9 rooms that can accommodate a total of 20 guests. The rooms feature a mix of 10 single beds (90 cm wide) and 5 double beds (160 cm wide), all equipped with high-quality mattresses and additional toppers for comfort. Designed to preserve the building's historical walls and beams, the rooms include skylights, parquet flooring, and radiators for heating. Guests are provided with satin bedding and towels, and two separate showers and toilets are available for convenience.

Additional Features

Guests can also enjoy the outdoor space, which includes a historically significant boat dock situated between the lake and the building. The surrounding area is perfect for various events and celebrations, with ample space for outdoor activities. An asphalt road leads directly to the guesthouse, ensuring easy access. Additionally, starting May 1, 2019, three more guest rooms with six additional beds will be available in the adjacent residential building.
