Just a short 15-minute drive from the renowned Aglona Basilica, Velna Lake, and the serene town of Krāslava, LOCU SALA offers a unique retreat for families and groups seeking to immerse themselves in nature.

LOCU SALA is steeped in legend, said to be the tranquil land discovered by a sea pilot, surrounded by shimmering lakes and gifted to local artisans and farmers. Here, you will find a thriving farm with a variety of animals including cows, sheep, rabbits, chickens, and geese, along with a beehive and a garden that produces 100% organic products year-round. We invite guests of all ages to explore the farm, observe the animals, and witness the growth of fruits, vegetables, berries, and herbs. Additionally, we can provide local food products from nearby farms or arrange for a chef to prepare meals using fresh, local ingredients.

Accommodation Options

The vacation complex consists of several charming houses, accommodating a total of 45 guests:

• Jumis: A spacious four-bedroom house for up to 14 guests.
• Skujiņa: A cozy weekend house with two bedrooms, accommodating up to 6 guests.
• Krupītis: A one-bedroom house for 5 guests (please note, it features steep stairs).
• Ūsiņa: Another one-bedroom house for 4 guests (also with steep stairs).
• Māras Krusts: A three to four-bedroom house that can host up to 16 guests.

Our property is pet-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for families traveling with their furry friends.
